| Seeds from Italy is the US distributor for Franchi Sementi spa of Bergamo, Italy. Founded in 1783 by the current owner’s great, great, great, great, great grandfather, Franchi Sementi is family owned and the second largest seed company in Italy. Italians are very discriminating about their vegetables and Franchi vegetables are chosen primarily for taste. Seed packs are double sealed to ensure freshness. 95% of our seeds are grown in Italy; none are genetically engineered nor are they treated. Packs are large-they typically have 3-5 times the number of seeds in a typical American seed pack. For example, our mesclun mix has @ 4500 seeds. That is a lot of salad mix. They also have our Seeds from Italy unconditional guarantee. If for any reason you are not satisfied, simply notify us. We will either refund your money or send you replacement seeds.
