Bean La Victoire. Bush type intense green French bean. 50-55 days. Beautiful, slim, tasty, very dark green bean; slimmer and darker green than Boby Bianco. Good producer. Pick when no thicker than a pencil for best eating quality and to encourage more production. Wonderful in a summer bean salad or just steamed briefly, cooled and dressed with olive oil & parsley. 60 gram pack (2 ounces), approximately 400 seeds, or 75 feet of planting.

    These are the best beans I have ever grown. I was amazed at the amount of beans produced over the summer, in fact they are still producing on the first of October. The beans are very slender and stay firm when cooked, without the loose skin that so often comes off on other varieties when cooked.

    We have planted these green and yellow beans for the last three years. We have only a small garden, and try to pick them while they a slim, but they are such heavy producers, sometimes they get ahead of us! But we love them. exelent texture and taste, and beautiful to look at.
