Carrot Jaune du Doubs (23-40)

Size *
Current stock: 0

Yellow carrot from Doubs. An old heirloom variety from France, but grown in Italy. 80+ days. Long, conical root (6-12 inches) with very little central core. Excellent taste; very sweet. Appears to have some resistance to carrot fly. 6 gram packet.

Bright yellow, tasty carrot

I farm and grew these next to Yellowstone. My impression is that it is deeper yellow and better flavored than Yellowstone. In general, I think of the yellow carrots as more of a cooking carrot, but these were good enough to eat fresh.
