Great for sauces

I grew Picante Etna this past season, for home and market sales in Nova Scotia. As an Italian food lover, The Etna peppers made the best sauces, Puttanesca being one of our favourites. They are also great in Asian and any spicy dish you like. They produced so well that I have dried many and frozen some for winter use, they make great red pepper flakes dried and crumbled. I can't wait to try the new pepper Picante Calabrese for 2015. Keep those e-mails coming, Deborah

Great pepper flavor - but watch out!

These are deceptive. Some have a wonderful pepper flavor and are very mild, sweet even. The next pepper lives up to the volcanic name. Same great flavor... but at least Serrano-hot.
