I bought a package of this seed while in Italy after buying some of the greens in the market. I planted it in the fall and it grew all winter (zone 7) and is such a delicious, mild salad green. It stays sweet and tender forever. I planted some more seed in late winter. I plan to grow it every year. I am very excited about this "discovery". The only down side is that if you pluck the whole plant rather than individual leaves it is harder to wash than even spinach and several washings are needed to remove grittiness.
