Zucchini San Pasquale -- Edible Flower (146-81)

Current stock: 614

A fine zucchini from Southern Italy. TO MAXIMIZE MALE FLOWER PRODUCTION, PICK FLOWERS FREQUENTLY. Ribbed with dark/light green stripes. Excellent taste & production. Good flower production. 6 gram packet. Not Franchi Seed. San Pasquale is also the varietal name for Franchi's Zucchini Da Fiore, but we are unable to say if the two are the exact same variety.

lovely zucchini, not TOO productive, but early!

This is a great variety of squash for my area, PNW. It's proven to be very adaptable and productive even in years that are cool. However, it's not TOO productive. It produces a pleasant number of squash-plenty to enjoy and share, but it doesn't create the "squash-pocalypse" that you can get with other varieties. It has a nice texture and pleasant flavor as well. I'm really pleased to see the new owners still carrying it-I need more seed for next year!
