Decided to try this after growing the Foglia Liscia variety which was terrific and very productive even lasting into winter [coastal Northern California]. What a disappointing mistake. Not so frilly as deeply indented leaves like dandelion. They plants thrived but there was very little of the leaf greens but a lot of stem. I'm back to the Smooth Leaf kind - the leaves are actually more ruffeled with some even having frilly edges depending on stage of growth and location on the plant.
