As with all seeds, a little patience is needed. You will have great seasons and, well, duds. These are incredible peppers that we cherish and can every year. The last two, not so much. Germination rates were low and the plants that made it never thrived. But that does not mean they are bad seeds. So many factors play into the equation. This year so far not great results yet… but we are still waiting. Been doing some temperature adjustments. Trust me when they do germinate and thrive their are not to be missed. This is a great company with dedicated employees and with some patience you will be enriched.

These are absolutely Calabria in a seed. I received these pepper seeds as a gift along with my order. And what a gift indeed. Extremely prolific plants and We spent all of late summer and fall pickling them, making pepper jellies and just plain eating them off the plants. Hot? Yes! But if you remove the seeds they are a medium hot and either way they are stupendous. We will be ordering more and planting these until I’m under the dirt myself. Bellissimo

I remove the seed from these peppers then smoke them using Pecan wood. Then I process them with a little olive oil and blend them slightly into a paste and can them. Great product to cook with. I also can many of them whole. I'm pretty much addicted to them...
