Radish Cappuccetto Rosso (112-3148)
An early variety for sowing in the open field in the spring and autumn, or earlier, at the end of winter under greenhouse or in a heated bed. The upper part of the rounded, spherical root is red, reaching about half way down the radish when cultivated in the open (about 35-40 days after sowing). When grown in forced conditions the red colouring forms only a “hood”, hence the name Little Red Riding Hood, around the “collar” where it meets the stem. The mid green leaves are slightly indented, plant with erect habit of growth to a good size, making it easy to harvest in bunches. Seed sourced from Sais Sementi.
10g Packet, approximately 900 seeds.
