Description

Valerian (Valeriana Officinalis L.) A hardy perennial flowering plant from the Valerianaceae family. Grows to be about 50 cm tall with intensley green leaves and pale pink flowers. Essential oils in the Valerian root may attract cats in a similar way to catnip. To make tea, use the dried roots from plants which are at least 2 years old. Traditionally used in moderation for insomnia and bowel irritations.  0.75 gram pack.
