This was the first Franchi zucchini I grew. I've grown it now for 4 years and it changed my mind about zucchini. I didn't hate zucchini but I didn't like it either. I grew this for market and the taste is amazing. I LOVE this zucchini and so do all my customers. I think I have people come to my table after trying this and another Franchi variety just to buy zucchini even though I charge more. Always great germination even on seeds left over from the year before and so far no disease issues.

This is the third year in a row that this variety has produced fantastic zucchini for me. In Vermont, no less. They are tender and delicious and the plants are largely trouble free. I recommend them highly whether boiled, grilled or sauteed. I plant a little extra seed with the organic selection, to allow for irregular germination.
