Zucchini Striato d'Italia (146-2)

$5.00 - $48.00

Zucchini Striato d'Italia - Italian Striped. Our most popular zucchini; grow it and you will understand why! The flavor is excellent, texture is firm, and the plants are super-productive over a long season. This is a bush-type zucchini, but give it plenty of room for the plants to keep growing larger. Fruits are striped dark green with light green, and have small ribs. Striato d'Italia produces many flowers that can be picked for squash blossom recipes. It tolerates heat, and also does well in cool weather. Good eating quality up to 10-12 inches, but best when picked small at about 6-8 inches. 55-60 days. 7 gram packet; approximately 30-35 seeds.

Approximately 2-10 seeds per gram.

Lousy growing season in the Northern Willamette Valley (2022). However, this zucchini plowed through the cold and damp to generate delicious fruit. The best tasting zucchini Seeds of Italy offers. Always a standard in our garden.

Fantastic production and excellent quality. Fairly good disease resistance. Fairly open growth habit.
