Chicory Italiana Pigna (40-889)

The plant has long, dark green leaves with indented edges, with well defined white ribs. The tuft is voluminous with a wide base from which the short, broad “chicons” grow tightly wrapped together. In the early stages of growth, the heads look very much like a pinecone. Seed sourced from Sais Sementi.
