Chicory Palla Rossa 2 Sel. "Giusto". Very early variety with beautiful white marbling on the red leaf. Sow May - Jul and harvest until the end of Sep. 4 and 12 gram pack. Approximately 600-900 seeds per gram.

Mel Brannen Planted Chicory Pall Rossa 2 Sel. "Giusto" in September 2013 in heavy clay soil that is amended with sand & compost. Began harvesting radicchio in November and continued through mid-January when we were hit by temperatures of single digits. The heads were beautiful, tight, and delicious with all the outer leaves just as tender and sweet making this a very productive planting.
