This seed was formerly produced by small Southern Italian seed companies and was no longer available, but for 2026 Giampiero Franchi has procured the seed for us.

An early, spineless, round cucumber melon from Bari in Puglia. Medium green in color with smooth skin. Young fruit most resembles a cucumber, but the flesh gets sweeter and softer as it grows. 

The seed packet pictures are of the old packets, the new Franchi packets do not have a picture.
