Geranium Zonale (327-2)

Italy is brilliant with geraniums in summer. They spill from every windowbox, stone wall, and doorway planter. In this country, most of the geraniums you see in garden centers are tissue cultured and it can get pretty expensive if you want to plant a lot of them. But Franchi's zonal geraniums are very easy to start from seed and you will be rewarded with an abundance of plants in brilliant shades of pink and red. They do best when the weather is cool -- if you keep them watered throughout hot summers, they will bloom again when the weather cools off in fall. Remove the faded blooms to stimulate more flower production. Approximately 15 seeds per pack.
