Marshmallow - Althea Officinalis (2-60)

Althea Officinalis L. This is a perennial plant belonging to the Malvacee family.  Intense green leaves, and a long stem which can reach 1m in height. The pale pink flowers are spread along the upper stem. The fresh flowers can be used for decoration, while the dried roots, leaves and flowers can be used in herbal teas. Used in traditional medicine as a decongestant.  2.5 gram packet.
