Zone 8b, Northern Willamette Valley, OR. A good sturdy plant that is easy to manage in a cage or on a 6 ft stake. A main crop tomato with excellent size, form, and flavor. Highly recommended.
Good yields on large disease resistant plants. Not mealy (that's a biggie for me), no cracking, juicy, flavorful with just the right balance of acid, and a moderately good shelf-life - easy to see why this is a popular market tomato. They tasted like they would make an excellent canning tomato, as well as fresh or in salad. I ate my first to quench the heat of an Jalapeno I bit off too much of, and realized it would also be very good in salsa or a chili . I'll grow them again.
