Zucchini Bolognese (146-41)
Short, thick fruit, almost halfway between a typical zucchini and a round one. Medium green with light speckling. No ribs. Same great taste and texture as all Italian zucchini. This is the favorite zucchini of the Franchi agent in London. 55-60 days. 50-60 seeds. Approximately 2-10 seeds per gram.

This squash was super productive in zone 9b and took the hot weather like a champ.Once the plants started fruiting, the more we picked the more it produced and most important the fruit is cute and yummy.Highly recommended.
This squash has a very mild flavor and is just the right size. I saute it in olive oil with onions and it is a terrific side dish. Also grated and put in baked goods give it a very moist texture.
We planted this squash later in the season and will definitely plant again. It is a great size and did well in drought.
Great germination, productive, and somewhat trailing vines. These produced over a long season in our previous Orange County, Ca backyard garden. When the Romanesco was tired of producing, these kept going, as long as they were picked. These held up fairly well in the heat of summer. They would surprise use with new squash that were hiding under the leaves every once in a while. They were very good quality when young, and were okay for stuffing when a bit mature.
