The Micromesh Blanket is made of a UV-stabilized ultrafine mesh, only 0.6mm, which is small enough to keep out cabbage root flies, carrot flies, whiteflies, onion flies, flea beetles, aphids, and other insects. It forms a barrier against birds, animals, and frost while still allowing sunlight, watering, and access to crops. A great help when starting your fall garden -- insect pressure is still high in late summer, but plants get a strong start when covered with Micromesh. Micromesh is tinted green to provide shade and retain moisture. It has 16 fabric loops, which can be used to stake the blanket. It can be cut to size, and it is packed in a strong plastic bag with a handle, which can be used for storage.
