Annual. Helichrysum bracteatum, also known as strawflowers. This is a mix of brightly colored, double flowers about 2 inches across. Long stems make them suitable for cutting and fresh arrangements. They are also a great flower for drying to use in wreaths and other dried-flower decor. To dry, gather small bunches of flowers and hang them upside down for a few weeks until the stems are thoroughly dried. The papery petals will retain their bright colors. If they droop after drying, you can cut off the stem and replace it with a piece of stiff florist wire pushed into the back of the flower head. 1.5 gram packet = approximately 2,000 seeds.
