I started these Montecarlo tomatoes indoors from seed, then transplanted them outdoors to a large patio container. The plants grew tall and lush, and remained disease-free. They produced an abundant crop of beautiful tomatoes that were all perfectly round, heavy for their size, and bright red inside and out. The skin was thin and the taste was perfectly balanced. I used them for both slicing and canning. The plants continued producing almost until frost. I will definitely grow them again next season.
